Week - 6 (Winter Break) Senior_Game_Project
Today I would really like to finish up all of the modeling for this scene. The first floor does need some work but I feel that I can accomplish the task at hand. Just really fine tune and tweak a little bit and compeletly finish tomorrow. I still have a couple of assets that come to mind that I need to finish up. They are the pistol asset and the rifle assets. Also add some some shower heads for the bathroom as well. I'm going to create garbage bins as well for the Mess Hall room too. The Utilitiy room also needs a water tank and a furnance for the room to make it feel more realistic. One more thing is the elevator asset. Just make a little room and model it like an elevator is probably the way I am going to go about this.

Week - 6 (Winter Break) Senior_Game_Project
This past week I really just worked on some assets. I was having a hard time trying to creating the first floor so that's what I worked on. The list of assets that have been finished for the first floor and for the second floor are the desks, tables, chairs, lamps, crates, lockers, end tables, picture frames, and doors. I also finish up the second floor. I like the way the second floor turned out with all it's assets, layout, and room placement. Remember the second room was the Captain's Quarters, the Two Barracks rooms, the Bathroom/Restroom, the Capture rooms, and the Weapons room.

Week - 5 Senior_Game_Project
Well the beds are done and have now been put into the barracks room. The bathroom has been re-edited that better fits a more military style of a bathroom. The first floor is also being redone. Adding a room to the first floor. Also have to add some more assets to make the scene more convincing. Merging files with the military scene and making sure that they fit within the scene. Also I am paying more attention to the scale or the scene. Some objects and even the rooms feel too small. Going to continue tomorrow and see were it takes me.

Week - 4 Senior_Game_Project
Got some work done over the weekend. I realized that I have to make generic beds for the barrack rooms, so I'll be starting and working on that today and will update as I go along today. Still try to figure out how I'm going to implement the holding cells. I'm might put them next to the bathrooms. I also need to make a "Mess Hall" or cafeteria if you will for the first floor. It would make sense to put the "Mess Hall" on the second floor put I feel that it would be too crowded with all the rooms and just really feel it should be on the first floor. Probably will add more images in the updated post today as I'm just really fine tuning the assests.

Week - 4 Senior_Game_Project

So I have the bathroooms compeleted with the stalls amd sinks. Felt pretty good about how they turned out to be. Now I'm creating a few holding cells but they will be rooms and not the typical jail cells. I'm going to make two of those rooms for the second floor with all the barrack rooms and the captain's quarters. Just got to continue cranking out assets and making theses floors. The second floor is preety much ready to go. Need to focus on the first floor however. I have a couple screen shots of the bathroom stalls and sink so here they are

Week - 3 Senior_Game_Project
The layout is almost completed and the design process has already begun. The second floor will consist of the "Captain Quarters" room and the three "barracks" room. However, instead of making the second floor an upper level, the second floor will now be an underground level to the Military Research Facility. The first floor will consist of the "Utility" room, instead of two "Storage" rooms; there is only one "Storage" room, a "Weapon" room and now a "Mess Hall" room or Dining room if you will.
Here are some of the initial layouts but are not finalized:

Week - 3 Senior_Game_Project
The Flowchart has been completed and I have begun production of my military research facility. I am still in the beginning stages of building it however; I have given myself some time to completely model out the scene. This scene will officially have two floors, eight rooms, with four on each floor. Three of those rooms will be the "Barracks" rooms. One room will be the "Captain's Quarters" room. One room will be the "Weapons Room" however; the "Weapons Room" will be all destroyed with only a few guns present within the room. One room will also be a "Utility Room." The two remaining rooms are the "Storage" rooms. These "Storage" rooms will have assets in the rooms such as crates, tools, shelves, lockers, and a window.

Week - 2 Senior_Game_Project
Now that I have my vision and that I am now ready to start the designing process, I am going to start on a Flowchart and begin the level layout. I want to design this level good becuase I would like to put it in my portfolio. However, with this design process I believe I'm going to have two floors to this level and I am also adding rooms as well. I think there will be five rooms for each floor. I still don't know how I am going to impliment the second floor, with that being either a stair case or an elevator.
Then there are the assets! I know that I'm going to have some chairs, tables, desks, computers, doors, a barracks room, papers/files all over the place, and destruction on the walls. I pretty much know which direction I'm going into but I still have a little more sketching out to do

Week - 1 Senior_Game_Project

Well this is the start of my Senior Game Project. With this project I am leaning toward more of a building a level becuase for my career choice I want to become a Level Designer. I was thinking first of doing the outisde of a ship however, I did not feel that, that would be beneficary to my career goal of being a Level Designer in the video game industry.
I am starting to design and get inspiration for what direction I would like to go into with this level but I am thinking more along the lines of a futristic, yet modern theme for this level. I think that my inspiration maybe from the game Mass Effect 2. I feel that I want to go along those guide lines of art style.
