Week - 10_Senior_Game_Project

All in all, I enjoyed this project and all its challenges. They were a few that's for sure. Time is what I really struggled with for this class and for this term really. If I had a chance to do it over again I would use better time. I needed to be more focus while I was modeling and texturing for that matter. It still has some work to be needed but the one thing that I am happy about is that I realized how to better unwrap and better my textures. Sure they still need some work but I'm excited for my future projects as I now know how to fix some of my mistakes and make them more realistic.

Week - 10_Senior_Game_Project

So I decided to not add any windows because I felt that it would look to tacky. So I decided to just focus on polishing the textures and start to add lights. Man did I forget how hard lighting a scene turly is. I knew that it was not going to be just place the light and your done. However, I did add some lights but i tried to arrange the lights the best way that I could. I'm kinda not happy with how they're placed but you only have so much time to complete the project.

Other than that I have just been cranking out work since last monday and haven't slept in a couple of days so I am a little tired that's for sure.

Week - 9_Senior_Game_Project

Thinking about adding just a few more assets. Not sure what just yet though. I feel that i should add some windows. However, I don't feel that adding windows would fit the scene or the look and feel for what I am going for. Of course that being the destruction of a military research facility.

Still feel like the composition still is right, However I am starting to think that I am trying to be a perfectionest and that just won't work because I'll feel that nothing isn't good enough for the scene. I guess I have been struggling with this compostion problem fo awhile now and feel that some things belong and some things don't belong.

Week - 9_Senior_Game_Project

Still trying to fix the scene up right so that way it looks realistic in the way of composition. Trying to make the scene look like a monster had destroyed it into oblivion. Some of the troubles I have been having are still some of the textures. I'm really trying to make them the best I can and make them feel real. I'm also trying to add blood onto some of the textures. For some reason, I'm having a hard time trying to make the blood look realistic. I've been trying to darken and lighten the blood texture but I just feel that it doesn't look right. Like it doesn't belong but the only problem is, is that the blood is part of my design and for the look and feel of the scene.

Week - 8_Senior_Game_Project

So I fixed up some of the UVW maps on some of the models and textures that were giving me a problem on the scene. Just really trying to polish and just make good texture to pretty up the scene. Still need to add some lighting effects to the scene though. To be honest, I am having a few troubles compositionally, on the building of the scene.

With that being said, I feeling more confident on compeleting this scene on time for this term. I was struggling a little bit on this scene. For example, inspiration was one of the problems that I was having. Time management was another. Just a few things came up from time to time, but now I'm sitting a little bit better upon compeleting the scene

Week - 8_Senior_Game_Project

Well I am currently in the stages of texturing and would like to really be finished by this weekend with the whole scene so that way I am able to do any and all polishing. Some of the texturing is going along rather easy. However, there are some objects that the UVW's are messing up or just for one reason or another is not attaching right, looks like it is being stretched out, or certain parts in the UVW and the texture are in different places.

The polishing that will need to be done are the adding of the lights, making sure that the scene is lit properly. Then the rest of the polishing would to make sure that everything is textured right or that the texture is of good quality. Also polishing would be that to make sure that nothing is floating, in the proper place (composition wise), and make sure assets are modeled to good quality.

Week - 6_Senior_Game_Project

Ok well I got the military beds in the Barracks room and I am going to switich the Utility room behind the elevator on the second floor from the first floor. Now for the Mess Hall room, I am going to add an "eatery line" in the Mess Hall room. Also going to add some silverware such as spoons, forks, and knives. After all this is accomplished that is when the destruction begins. I am going to make the scene as if this military research facility has been attacked be some creature. After the destruction then that's when the textures will be applied.
